Earlier this year Sybil and Bechora Deeb travelled to Lebanon and Europe on a trip that was both a holiday and a refresher course in Middle Eastern cuisine, that led to the Middle Eastern Long Table program during Mudgee's September Wine Festival. The recipe for each course originating in a different country, giving diners a unique opportunity to discover the delights of the food of the Middle East. The Feast includes dishes from Syria, Iraq, Egypt, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia (Mezza), Dubai (main course) and Lebanon (dessert) making a cook's tour of the Middle East.
